Rotometrics European Open House to be held in September 2016

Rotometrics European Open House to be held in September 2016

BPIF Labels are pleased to be one of the partners for the forthcoming European Open House event. This event, which has been held every two years since 2012, has become established as one of the key events in the label calendar. The growth of the event has meant that, for this year, an extra 40% of space has had to be allocated.

Over 400 attendees from the world of labels are expected to attend this event which will be held on 27th and 28th of September at Rotometrics' UK Manufacturing Facility in Aldridge. One of the keynote speakers will be Sir Clive Woodward. A national rugby hero, Sir Clive's philosophies for winning and creating high performance teams resonate across both sporting and corporate worlds. As a keynote speaker he draws from his experience as the former Director of Sport for the British Olympic Association and as a Head Coach achieving Rugby World Cup victory with England. His high performance teams work in a similar way to companies and are built on structures resembling sports teams. His attendance will no doubt attract a large audience.

Speakers from the retail world will complement a varied programme. Ian Schofield from Iceland will be discussing the trends that are taking place within the retail sector and explain how packaging is affected. While Paul Currie, from Lakes Distillery, will be talking about the creation of new brands and how his company has been successful in doing this. The final speaker programme has yet to be finalised but there will also be numerous speakers from the label industry who will be talking about the trends that are taking place and giving an insight into how the industry will continue to develop and expand.

During the two days, table top displays will be on show that will facilitate discussions and enable networking to take place. Gold sponsors for the event are: Focus Label Machinery, Graphic Republik, Herma, Nilpeter UK, Platinum Paper and Thermal Transfer Solutions.  Additional partner sponsors are: ABG, Afinia Label, API Foils, Avery Dennison, Dantex, Epson, GEW, Grafisk Maskinfabrik A/S, GSM UK, J M Heaford, JFM Plates, IST UK, Kodak, Label Traxx, Mark Andy UK, Paragon Inks, Prati, Sandon Global, Xeikon, UPM Raflatac, Vetaphone, Zeller & Gmelin with the event being supported by BPIF labels, EFIA and FINAT.

Refreshments and food will be available throughout the proceedings and the familiar hog roast will again feature quite heavily during the two days.
It is anticipated that flyers advertising the event will be circulated during May with registrations being taken shortly afterwards. Neil Lilley, Sales Director of Rotometrics, will be responsible for registration and he can be contacted at: [email protected]

Neil says "Rotometrics are proud to once again host this flagship event for the label industry. Bringing together a variety of companies engaged in all sectors will enable visitors to experience at first hand the exciting developments that are taking place within our industry and Rotometrics are looking forward to welcoming visitors."
