The printing, packaging and graphics communications industry is part of the UK's fourth largest manufacturing industry by turnover and second largest by value added. Lobbying
The BPIF is regularly consulted by the government regarding the formulation of public policy. The government and other decision-makers depend on a good flow of information and views from those who may be affected. We also lobby Government proactively to advocate changes in legislation or regulations that would benefit the industry or to challenge those that would impact adversely on it. Influence
The All Party Parliamentary Print Group (APPPG) was established in 2001 and provides a forum in which MPs can discuss issues impacting on the printing industry. Supported by the BPIF, the APPPG plays an important role in and raising the profile of the printing industry amongst parliamentarians.
