Why join the BPIF?

Associate membership of the BPIF offers suppliers a unique marketing channel through which to reach approximately 2000 BPIF members right across the £14bn UK printing industry.

BPIF members represent over half of the spending power of the entire printing industry. BPIF Associate membership also brings access to over 1300 members of the British Office Supplies and Services (BOSS) Federation. BOSS represents all businesses along the distribution chain of the office products industry, covering stationery, office machines, supplies, office furniture, office systems and related product areas. With a wide breadth of membership from the smallest retailer to the largest manufacturers, BOSS represents the majority of the industry’s turnover.

Marketing through membership
As a BPIF Associate member, we will provide you with the opportunities that will help you promote your business. A wide range of advertising and sponsorship opportunities are available to you, on a payment for services basis, giving you greater control and flexibility of your marketing budget. Advertising buttons currently feature on all page views. In addition to this we also have an email newsletter BPIF E-News, which is distributed to approximately 4000 individually named addressees. Our monthly membership magazine ‘Inprint’ carries a circulation of approximately 6000, which can carry exclusive membership advertising and inserts.

Local and national networking opportunities
A key part of the development of any business is the ability to network effectively. Whilst Associate members meet to discuss issues of common interest, you also have the opportunity to meet with the print community on a local and national level, at regional seminars and training events. Associate members are given first refusal on all sponsorship opportunities including supporting the prestigious annual BPIF Excellence Awards, BPIF Finance and Investment Conference and The British Book Design and Production Awards. There are also opportunities to sponsor a range of meetings, at both local and national level, sponsorship of our information surveys amongst others, which aim to provide Associate members with more exclusive opportunities to build their profiles.
