Lord O’Neill of Clackmannan (Martin)

Lord O’Neill of Clackmannan (Martin)

All at the BPIF were very sorry to hear of the passing of Lord O'Neill of Clackmannan (Martin) after a long illness.

Martin was a co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Print, and many of our members will have met him at our Members' Day events in Parliament over the last few years. He was always engaged, informed and genuinely interested in print and in those who work in it.

First elected as an MP in the late 70s, he'd chaired the Trade & Industry Committee and built a strong knowledge of, and respect for, our industry and other manufacturing sectors.
