URGENT GOVERNMENT REQUEST - WE NEED YOUR INPUT FOR ENERGY SUPPORT
We have been contacted by the Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) with the requirement that as many print businesses as possible complete the Government survey below to support their information gathering.
Responses to the Government survey will help inform and shape the review of the Energy Bill Relief Scheme.
This request is urgent and the questionnaire will close at 23.55 on Sunday 30 October.
The current support is extremely important, and it will end on 31 March for sectors not given "vulnerable" status. BEIS have advised that "The wider evidence base we have, the more likely it will be that sectors will be considered for support", so we are calling on all our members to respond, and are also coordinating with fellow Trade Associations within the GPMA (Graphics & Print Media Alliance).
The information that BPIF have gathered over the last few months shows clearly the impact on companies of the huge energy price increases, and the importance of mitigating government action - we need your help to make that point to Government.
Please fill out the Government form by clicking here (all data is kept strictly confidential),
Please note:
When responding you will be required to enter your company registration number, the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for the industry you operate in, and a description of the industry your organisation operates in.
Most BPIF members’ SIC code will start with 17 or 18 (a drop-down selection menu is provided). We advise, where possible, that BPIF members enter “Printing and Printed Packaging” in the industry description.
