Moving goods between GB and NI - support available

The Northern Ireland Customs & Trade Academy (NICTA) is an online learning platform preparing traders for the processes involved in moving goods under the Northern Ireland Protocol.

The NICTA website hosts guidance and informational videos on how to move goods into and out of Northern Ireland.  It exists to support companies in their use of The Trader Support Service (TSS) which is a free government supportive programme to assist you to continue the smooth movement of goods between GB and NI.

Simply, the TSS manages the declarations and the administrative process related to the movement of goods between GB and NI.  The NICTA provides the support to help companies prepare and use the TSS appropriately.

If you are moving goods between GB and NI we stronly advise that you familiarise yourself with the NICTA and the TSS - and sign up to the weekly email bulletin so that you keep informed about future requirements, changes to the administrative steps, and updated support to help you navigate this and smooth your trading process.
