POTTS PRINT (UK) ACHIEVES ISO 27001 INFORMATION SECURITY CERTIFICATION

Potts Print (UK) are now an ISO 27001 certified company. As an evolving business catering for many customers in the direct mail sector, achieving ISO 27001 certification underpins Potts Print's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security for its customers and stakeholders. 

ISO 27001 is one of the most widely recognised and internationally accepted information security standards. It identifies requirements for a comprehensive Information Security Management System and defines how organisations should manage and handle information in a secure manner, including appropriate security controls. To achieve the certification, Potts' compliance was validated in April by British Assessment Bureau after demonstrating an ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting company and customer data. 

The scope of the certification covers the receipt, transfer, storage and processing of data to enable the production of printed documents and provision of direct, trans promo and transactional mailings. 

In addition, their digital printing division has undergone recent investment including the latest Xerox lridessse and Nuvera presses and a Canon varioPRINT iX3200 which is due for installation in June 2024. These devices, coupled with intelligent Bluecrest Epic and CMC 250 insertion lines and the recently installed Cygnus data processing suite, make for a comprehensive solution for Potts' direct mail customers. 

The new certification sits alongside existing ISO certifications for Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems, BRCGS Packaging Materials and FSC & PEFC Chain of Custody.
