Media Design and Print Elevates Capabilities with New Roland TrueVis AP-640

Leading Belfast print firm, Media Design and Print, has just enhanced its capabilities by acquiring the cutting-edge Roland TrueVis AP-640 wide format resin/latex printer. Purchased from Quadient with the expert assistance of their Business Development Manager, John Jennings, this addition marks a significant leap forward for the company.

The Roland TrueVis AP-640, part of the trusted TrueVIS platform, is renowned for its exceptional print quality and cost-efficiency. Its resin/latex print technology ensures instant drying of inks, allowing for immediate finishing, dispatch, or application, dramatically reducing turnaround times and boosting productivity.

In line with Media Design and Print’s dedication to eco-friendly practices, the TrueVis AP-640 uses odourless, eco-friendly inks that are compatible with a wide range of media, including PVC-free options. These inks carry certifications such as GREENGUARD, AgBB+, and the highest indoor air quality rating of A+. The printer’s design minimises waste and power consumption, featuring low-waste ink pouches and an energy-efficient air curtain dryer.

The AP-640 excels in ink adhesion and stretchability across various media types, making it ideal for banners, posters, vehicle wraps, and fine art prints. Its ability to maintain colour and media stability over long or panelled print runs ensures consistent, high-quality results, solidifying Media Design and Print’s reputation for excellence.

This acquisition underscores Media Design and Print’s commitment to delivering the best possible print solutions to their clients. By leveraging the advanced capabilities of this printer, they can offer faster turnaround times, superior print quality, and sustainable options while maintaining competitive costs.

The addition of the Roland TrueVis AP-640 from Quadient, facilitated by John Jennings, marks a significant milestone for Media Design and Print. This investment not only enhances their production capabilities but also reinforces their commitment to sustainability and customer satisfaction, ensuring they remain at the forefront of the print industry.
