50 years of the Health & Safety at Work Act

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 turns 50 on 31st July 2024, with the workplace looking remarkedly different to when this legislation was put into practice. 

The attached article shows a little of the history of HSWA 74, along with the essentials of the framework.
