Infigo and Enfocus revolutionise workflow creation with Connect: Switch module

Infigo and Enfocus revolutionise workflow creation with Connect: Switch module

Infigo and Enfocus customers will now be able to create complex, customised workflows in minutes through Infigo’s Connect: Switch Module. The module, which is now available in Enfocus’s App store, underscores Infigo's commitment to enhancing automation capabilities within the print and media production industries, enabling users to optimise their workflows like never before..

Michael Zauner, Infigo's Chief Technology Officer, said the latest in a long line of collaborations between the two partners would give mutual customers unrivalled functionality, flexibility, and productivity.

Revolutionising workflow automation with Infigo Connect: Switch

Enfocus Switch is a powerful automation software designed to streamline repetitive tasks within print and media production workflows. By integrating with a wide range of third-party applications, Switch allows users to automate processes such as file management, pre-flighting, and output generation, all within a highly customisable environment.

The newly launched Infigo Connect app leverages this robust platform by providing seamless connectivity between Enfocus Switch and Infigo storefronts. Users can now effortlessly import job details, asset files, and metadata into their Enfocus Switch environment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow from start to finish.

Additionally, the app supports real-time status updates, keeping systems in sync and providing full transparency across the production process.

Long-standing partnership

Michael said, “We’ve obviously had a long-standing partnership with Enfocus, which has provided huge benefits for users of both platforms. However, the new Connect: Switch module, which is available to download in Enfocus’ app store, means printers can create new workflows in a fraction of the time without needing to get the IT department involved.

"In short, processes and workflows that would have taken days to implement, involving highly experienced developers, can now be up and running with just a clicks of the mouse and keyboard.

“What would have resulted in at least a day of costly downtime can be done during your lunch hour.

“Infigo Connect is designed with ease of use in mind. The app can be quickly installed from the Enfocus Switch App Store, and users can establish connections with just a few simple steps. This integration eliminates the need for complex IT setups, such as port forwarding, which traditionally required significant time and expertise.

“By simplifying the connection process, Infigo Connect allows users to focus on what truly matters—delivering high-quality print products on time and with minimal errors.”

Key Features of Connect: Switch

• Seamless Integration: Effortlessly connects Enfocus Switch with Infigo storefronts, streamlining the transfer of job files, metadata, and other essential assets.

• Job Importing: Automatically imports jobs, including associated asset files and metadata, into your Switch workflow, reducing manual intervention.

• Status Updates: Provides real-time status updates to ensure consistent and accurate workflow management.

Connect with a wide range of software vendors

Davy Verstaen, AppStore Manager at Enfocus, commented: “The launch of Infigo Connect on the Enfocus AppStore marks an important step in our ongoing mission to simplify and automate print workflows. By integrating Infigo’s web-to-print platform with Enfocus Switch, we are providing our users with the tools they need to enhance efficiency and drive business growth.”

Availability and requirements

To use Infigo Connect, customers must ensure that their Infigo storefront has the Connect: Switch module enabled. The app supports two modes of operation: a webhook-based approach for installations accessible externally and a polling mechanism for local installations connected to the internet. These options provide flexibility to accommodate various infrastructure setups.
