Sexual Harassment – the ‘preventative duty’
Changes are due to come into force 26th October 2024, introducing a new duty on employers to take proactive steps to prevent sexual harassment of their workers – referred to as ‘the preventative duty’. This is not a simple ‘tick-box’ exercise and employers will need to show evidence of the reasonable steps taken – our HR team are currently busy building an 8-point plan of tools and templates for members.
For further guidence, dowload the document below or for more information and support get in touch with one or our HR Business Partners.
Our e-learning package will be launched very soon, for employers to utilise within their workforce, as part of their preventative duty – to ensure you’re kept updated and have access as soon as it’s launched please email [email protected] and you’ll be the first to know.
