Modern Slavery – Case Study

You may have seen the recent BBC expose which revealed that 16 modern slavery victims were forced to work at fast food restaurants by a criminal gang, as well as a factory supplying six major supermarkets in the UK. According to the report, the exploitation spanned more than four years, during which clear signs of slavery went unnoticed and this may be of interest as the ‘red flags’ are highlighted within the attached case study.
