Jones and Brooks successfully renew BPIF Health & Safety Seal of Excellence

Jones and Brooks, the specialist NHS product printer based in Rochdale, has successfully renewed its BPIF Health & Safety Seal of Excellence.

Darren Shepherd, National Membership Director, commended Jones and Brooks for their ongoing commitment to improving health and safety performance. "It's clear that Jones and Brooks have a strong health and safety culture within their business, and the dedication of everyone involved is reflected in their successful re-accreditation."

Andrew Blair and Martin Robinson from Jones and Brooks are pictured receiving their Seal of Excellence from Phil Ashcroft, BPIF Health & Safety Advisor.

Phil Ashcroft remarked, "It's a privilege to award Jones and Brooks the Health and Safety Seal of Excellence. Martin and the team show enthusiasm for continuous improvement, and this commitment was key to our collaborative efforts in ensuring Jones and Brooks continues to champion the positive impact of a strong health and safety culture. Not to mention, the organisation's standards are second to none."

BPIF’s Health and Safety Seal of Excellence (SoE) programme provides businesses with the opportunity to showcase their health and safety management expertise, both internally and across the wider print industry. To achieve the award, companies undergo a thorough audit, assessing key areas of their health and safety performance. Immediate feedback is provided during the audit, with recommendations for improvement. To maintain the Seal of Excellence, businesses must either maintain or improve their score during subsequent audits, which take place every two years.

Established in 1876, Jones and Brooks will next year celebrate its 150th anniversary, marking a significant milestone as one of the "Top 20 oldest active print companies in the UK."
