Food packaging supply chain announces major Summit in September
Following the success of the inaugural UK Food Packaging Summit in 2013, the British Coatings Federation, representing printing inks manufacturers, has joined forces with BPIF Cartons and the Stationers' Company to bring an exciting programme together which will encompass all stages in the supply chain. Presenters at the Summit will talk about how, through collaborative working, the consumer is ensured peace of mind when it comes to food packaging safety.
As before, representatives from the full food packaging supply chain will be represented, including brand owners and retailers (Marks and Spencer), who will explain their expectations of the packaging supply chain. Other speakers include ink makers talking about the latest regulatory landscape in Europe impacting food safety, the Circular Economy and challenges facing carton printing, flexible packaging, and how to minimise the risks of migration.
The Summit takes place at Stationers' Hall in London, on Wednesday 28 September. The packed full day programme is available at the reasonable price of £95 for members of related Trade Associations, with sponsorship opportunities available too.
