BPIF triumph at Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards

BPIF triumph at Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards

The BPIF are delighted to have been awarded Event of the Year for the British Book Design and Production Awards at the 2016 Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards on Wednesday 6 July in London.

The Awards recognise, reward and promote best practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK and are a chance for TAF members to showcase their hard work and achievements during the last twelve to eighteen months.

The British Book Design & Production Awards (BBD&PAs) is one of the most prestigious and popular events in the literary calendar. Organised by the BPIF in partnership with The Bookseller, Oxford Brookes University and The Publishers Association, the Awards are unique as they recognise the craftsmanship of the physical book as opposed to the written content, offering a unique accolade to the creatives involved. The Awards bring together the printing, publishing and design industries, promoting collaboration and networking.

Presented to the BPIF Marketing Team by award sponsor, UKAS, the team were delighted to receive the award, especially as they were up against 5 strong finalists.

BPIF Marketing Director, Amy Hutchinson, commented, “We are absolutely thrilled to win the TAF Event of the Year accolade for our British Book Design and Production Awards. This achievement is purely down to the creativity and dedication of the team to create a unique event that brings together publishers, printers and designers to celebrate the creation of beautiful books.”

The BPIF were also shortlisted for Publication of the Year for their book of the night featuring the winners from the BBD&PA event.

Entry to the 2016 BBD&PAs will close on 15 July with the ceremony taking place on 10 November in London.
