Weatherby's latest investment

Weatherby's latest investment

The Printing Services department of Weatherbys Ltd, based in Wellingborough, Northants, have placed an order for a production workflow system with Papermule of Diss, Norfolk.

Weatherbys, primarily responsible for supplying racing services to the BHA, provide racecard production, printing and publishing services to the horse racing industry. In the last twelve months they have produced racecards for 1,484 race meetings in the UK and Ireland including the Grand National Festival and Royal Ascot.

Papermule's Managing Director, Mike Hoy, said, "we have been working closely with the team at Weatherbys to deploy a system that would aid in the everyday production of products like the racecards but to also provide a means of giving Weatherbys customers better access to the many services that are on offer."

The ‘cloud-based' system will be based on Papermule's Data Asset Management System and will include both workflow management and a customer facing web portal.

Weatherbys Head of Printing Services, Steve Arnold said "after an extensive review of potential suppliers we selected the solution provided by Papermule. We were impressed by the willingness of their team to listen to our unique requirements and also suggest solutions that will provide efficiencies to our existing processes".
