BPIF offer Masters level programme for the print industry
BPIF believe excellent training is vital to ensure our industry thrives and we feel that this should be continuous, allowing employees at all levels the chance to learn. In partnership with Management Development Centre (MDC), the BPIF currently offers a qualification in MSc Management. The programme is delivered and awarded by University of South Wales.
Ursula Daly, BPIF Programme Director comments "the feedback from our learners completing the Graduate Management Programme in July 2015 was tremendous. There is a real desire amongst them to continue learning and the MSc Management allows them to build on their level 5 achievements and achieve a Masters level qualification very quickly".
This programme allows current graduates and other qualifying employees within the industry the chance to attain an MSc Management in as little as 12 months. For graduates of the level 5 programme, this will involve completing only 2 modules and a dissertation. The programme will encompass 2 residential weekends and great networking opportunities.
You will follow two modules in Leadership & Management Theories and Research Methods. There will then be two assignments to complete and a final dissertation to submit.
What do previous students say?
"I have developed a more confident approach to business, the MSc has changed the way in which I think, and it has stretched my thought processes. I valued the networking opportunities, the insight into other organisations and industry sectors was fascinating and the people were interesting and enjoyable company." Carole Dunleavy, Purchasing Manager at Sony Manufacturing UK Ltd
The MSc Management can be funded by the individual and will cost £5750 VAT, but many previous students have managed to secure sponsorship from their company because of the benefits the programme provides. For example, the dissertation can equate to a large-scale research project which the company would otherwise have to commission externally.
