MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown visits Corinium Continuous

Corinium Continuous Ltd, based in Cirencester, celebrated their 25th anniversary with Cotswold MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown recently. Based at The Hidings in Love Lane, Corinium specialises in security and integrated printing using traditional plate printing methods. The company, which turned 25 in the summer, started in Mercian Close, Cirencester in 1991 and has been at their current site for the past five years.

Jonathan Street, managing director and chairman of the company, said: "We have turned a corner since the recession and we are looking forward to the next 25 years. "As a small business, what we are actually doing is competing against much bigger businesses around the country. We can offer customer service and levels of personal quality that bigger companies cannot" Some of the staff have been working here for 23 years and this experience counts for a lot. He added "These traditional print processes have been learnt over time and come down to the experience of our employees."

Geoffrey Clifton Brown said: "We are here to celebrate the last 25 years but also look to the next 25 years. We've got so many hidden gems like this one in Cirencester, that's what makes the town so special" "Corinium Continuous give an excellent service excelling against big businesses because people want a niche product. Their customers will come back to them time after time."

Dawn Reid, Regional Director for SW of British Printing Industries Federation, said: "For a small business to withstand four recessions, it shows it is a sustainable business - this is one area where we strive to help companies along with bringing new talent into the industry via apprenticeships to maintain these skills."
