Windles win Environmental Company of the Year

Windles win Environmental Company of the Year

Windles Group, based in Thame, Oxfordshire, have won the Environmental Company of the Year at the PrintWeek Awards.

The company has invested £5m in a purpose-built eco-factory, equipped with light and motion sensors to save energy, as well as insulation techniques to keep the heat in. Their second programme, the Loop-It initiative features colour-coded action panels throughout the factory which promote sustainable print and production.
