Line Manager Training
Line managers within any business play the biggest part in influencing and managing positive and acceptable behaviours. Therefore, you should ensure that your line managers have the tools and the confidence to manage your people effectively.
Here at the BPIF, our HR specialists can deliver a range of training workshops that will help you to equip your line managers to deal with a whole range of staffing issues, including: discipline, grievance, performance, attendance and much more.
In June, we have scheduled to deliver a training workshop on Managing Discipline & Grievance effectively.
Managing staff, is at the best of times a challenge, and although disciplining employees is an inevitable part of running a business, it needs to be handled correctly and with confidence.
Failure to deal with a disciplinary issue fairly can leave you open to costly claims.
You may have questions that you would like answering….
• Do I have to follow a set procedure?
• Do I have to have a meeting or can I just write to the employee?
• Why do I have to have investigation notes?
• Why do I have to allow the employee to be accompanied?
• Who can deal with any appeal hearing?
The Managing Discipline and Grievance will answer these and many more of your questions. The workshop is on 29th June 2017, 10am - 4pm at the BPIF Northern Office. This certificated workshop is designed for line managers, supervisors and others with HR responsibilities.
