Celebrating 100 years of existence

Celebrating 100 years of existence

There has recently been a very proud moment for all of the (current!) team at FF Allsopp & Co., the bookbinders based in Ilkeston, Derby. They have received their centenary certificate from Companies House celebrating their 100 years of existence!

The Bookbinders & Printers established originally in 1901 in the heart of Nottingham, Allsopps are specialists in PUR/Case and perfect binding along with thread and singer sewn products, soft and hardbacks. They also have a further more recently added string to their bow with their Bespoke Album Company.

Nick Smith and Ann Hall who now run the business with Bob Loach said, "We are very proud of our heritage and have a great mix of both traditional and modern book production methods here at Allsopps."

Dawn Reid, the BPIF Regional Director for the area, added, "It's like getting a card from the queen for longevity of marriage! Well done to everyone at the company, it's testament to the necessary ability to change and adapt..."
