Apprentice on BPIF programme wins top award
The BPIF would like to congratulate Digital Pre-Press apprentice, Jordan Morris, on the BPIF apprenticeship programme - on winning the Oxford University Apprentice of the Year Award.
Jordan collected her prize, an iPad, and her certificate at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford and said, "It's the first and only thing I've ever won, I am so grateful for the recognition and the iPad, but I've got to share it with Mum!"
Sarah King, Services Manager at The University of Oxford, said, "We're really proud of Jordan, she has worked very hard and truly deserves the award. Jordan has been appointed as a permanent member of staff within our Print Studio, she is a real ambassador for apprentices in print - we are sure this is just the first year of a very successful career for her."
Dawn Reid, BPIF Regional Director for the area added, "This is great news for Jordan, who started on our programme in December 2016, but is also a complement for us too! Well done Jordan, it's very much deserved."
