The Future of Retail FMCG Packaging – opportunity to present to a leading UK supermarket

A leading UK supermarket retailer is organising an educational session for senior internal stakeholders and would like to invite representatives from the packaging supply chain to speak at the session.

The Retail Institute was approached to shortlist the most relevant print and packaging suppliers to come and present in Leeds, in April this year. The day will include 4 speaking slots of 20-30 minutes to be delivered on a variety of topics (outlined below).

4. Sensory/Tactile

SMART & CONNECTED PACKAGING
5. Smart Packaging 
6. Labels or Materials Detecting Spoilage/Leaks etc.
7. Product Preservation Solutions
8. Watermarking (for product scanning)
9. QR Codes
10. Near Field Communication Tags (e.g. for alcohol for authenticity & counterfeiting)

SECURITY SOLUTIONS FOR FMCG
11. Theft Prevention/Security Solutions of Premium FMCG Products

PROCESS & TIMELINE:

Interested parties are requested to fill in a short application (attached) and submit it to: [email protected] by 12pm on Wednesday 31 January 2018.

The applications will be evaluated by the retailer and Retail Institute panel and successful proposals will be contacted by Wednesday 21 February 2018.
