Billy Gibbs O’Riordan receives Kathy Woodward Award for Learning

This year's winner is Billy Gibbs O'Riordan, Case Binding Manager at Precision Printing. He intends to put the prize money towards the purchase of revision books and courses, which will enable him to further his studies and career.

On his achievement, Billy said, "I am over the moon to have received the Kathy Woodward Award! I had the pleasure of meeting Kathy on a number of occasions during my early development. Receiving advice and motivation from such a character and others like her plays a huge part in my hunger to develop. As well as being a huge pat on the back and a chance to meet other great characters, the award will help me develop my career and the grant will be well spent on courses and recourses that will launch my career further."

Launched in July 2015, in memory of the BPIF's much loved CEO, Kathy Woodward, who sadly passed away a year previously, the £1,000 Award - sponsored by Webmart - supports individuals in the print, packaging and graphic design industries to further their careers. Applicants were asked to submit a 500-word proposal on how they would spend the money in order to develop their careers.
