Finalists for British Book Design and Production Awards 2018 announced

The BPIF are thrilled to announce the shortlist for the British Book Design & Production Awards (BBD&PAs) 2018. These awards recognise and acknowledge the excellence and craftsmanship of the British book design and production industry.

A panel of four judges, selected from the areas of design, publishing and production, gathered for two days at Oxford Brookes University, where they went through a tough selection process in order to reach the shortlist decision for each category. Due to the high quality of entrants this year the judges had an extremely difficult decision on their hands to select the shortlist.

The winners of each category will be announced on Thursday 22 November at a dazzling ceremony at the prestigious Montcalm London Marble Arch Hotel. Not only will a winner be announced for each of the listed categories, but one book will be awarded the illustrious crown of ‘Book of the Year'.

This year's awards are certain to be a memorable night as industry and clients come together to celebrate the best of British book design and production. There are individual tickets and package tickets for a table of 10 available, with the ticket price including a drinks reception, a three course meal, an evening of excellent entertainment, and of course - most importantly - the dazzling ceremony celebrating the finalists and winners.

The BPIF would like to thank its sponsors: Boss Print, Canon, Denmaur, Fedrigoni, Friedheim International, HP, IFS, Muller Martini, The Printing Charity, Winter & Co and media partners BookMachine, Oxford Brookes University, The Bookseller and The Publishers Association.
