'Back to School' training for your employees

'Back to School' training for your employees

Are you looking to provide 'back to school' training for your employees?

The BPIF offers a wide range of core training courses and qualifications in Human Resources and Health & Safety so your staff can realise their true potential, and you can fill any skills gap in your business. We believe the future of the industry depends on the quality of the people working within it. To be successful in such a dynamic and fast changing sector, print needs not only experienced but also well trained and motivated employees.

HR Training

Remember, your first line manager are your ambassadors! They should always be alert to ways they can help develop the contribution and strengths of those in their teams. The more effective your people are, the more likely the business efficiency and productivity will improve.

However, once promoted, many first line managers are not provided with appropriate training for handling their Human Resources effectively - and are unaware of how to follow correct and lawful procedures.

This can lead to a lack of confidence in dealing with difficult issues such as poor performance, poor attitude and poor attendance - and often results in conflict, lack of control and operational inefficiency. At worst, it could lead to disciplinary and dismissal disasters, with successfully argued and costly Employment Tribunal claims.

Get ahead of the competition and ensure your productivity is always at its best. Ensure you have safeguarded your risk against the damaging claims of discrimination or bullying.

We can help you achieve this by training your managers and equipping them with vital people management skills - to empower them to be the confident professionals they really are.

We provide the following training workshops to equip your line managers with the tools to manage their teams;

  • HR Toolkit for Effective Line Managers Workshop
  • Managing Discipline and Grievance Procedures Workshop
  • Managing Poor Performance Workshop
  • Bullying and Harassment Workshop
  • Performance Appraisal Training and Development Workshop
  • Absence Management Workshop

Maximum delegate numbers apply and will be stated at the point of enquiry for on-site training. Off-site courses will take place at a BPIF specified venue and are subject to availability.

"The BPIF HR Toolkit provided a positive impact on how to deal with managerial situations going forward." Roberts Mart & Co Limited.

H&S Training

Remember, accidents happen! As an employer you have a duty of care to ensure the health and safety of personnel within your premises, and the law comes down heavily on those companies who breach legislation and fail to comply with regulations.

Regardless of legislation, promoting and maintaining good health and safety policies in the workplace helps to recruit and retain the best staff, reduce sickness levels and improve productivity and profitability.

We provide the following training courses to enable you to provide a safe and secure environment for your staff, while ensuring legislative compliance;

  • Managing Safety Training (inc. IOSH, NEBOSH, Manager Safety Awareness, Workplace Safety Awareness and Risk Assessment)
  • First Aid Training
  • Fire Marshal/Fire Warden Training
  • Manual Handling Training
  • Safe Working at Height

Maximum delegate numbers apply and will be stated at the point of enquiry for on-site training. Off-site courses will take place at a BPIF specified venue and are subject to avaliability.

"The Fire Warden Training provided a good all round knowledge of the health and safety risk in the workplace." Galloways.
