Konica Minolta receives Two BLI PRO Awards for 2019

Langenhagen, Germany, 11 October 2018

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe has received two Keypoint Intelligence’s Buyers Lab (BLI) 2019 PRO awards for the company’s AccurioPress 6136 and AccurioPress C3080 digital presses.

“Buyers Lab’s PRO awards celebrate the ‘best of the best’ of what we test over the course of a given year in the production segment,” said David Sweetnam, Keypoint Intelligence’s Director of EMEA/Asia Research & Lab Services. “Based on the high marks that the AccurioPress 6136 and the AccurioPress C3080 delivered in critical areas such as job management and media handling, along with other strong results, it’s clear that both models are two of the best production devices we tested in the last year.”

Konica Minolta has been recognized as a leader in the production and industrial printing industry for many years. The company continually strives to deliver solutions that increase productivity and generate additional revenues for commercial printers, from small-to-mid-sized businesses to global enterprises. The digital presses recognized by Buyers Lab for a 2019 PRO award is further evidence of these achievements, and reinforces the value proposition the company brings to the printing community. Each press chosen for this award brings a wide range of capabilities, but some topline facts and figures include:

• The AccurioPress 6136 digital printing press provides high-quality, black-and-white output at high volume. Capable of printing 136 pages per minute, it offers real-time, automated image density and registration adjustments that maintain image stability over long press runs with an 18,000 sheet paper capacity.

• The AccurioPress C3080 excels at a number of digital press jobs including two-sided banner printing, professional finishing, and high-productivity of up to 80 pages per minute. It also offers real-time, automated quality adjustments, producing excellent image quality. Both printers feature 1200 x 1200 drops per inch resolution yielding smoother, more realistic images.

“We are once again honored to be recognized by Keypoint Intelligence in their presentation of this distinguished award for our digital presses,” said Charles Lissenburg, General Manager Professional Print Division at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. “Our technology and innovations in the digital print space has grown exponentially over recent years. We are delighted to be seen as a leader in this field, recognizing our commitment to achieving excellence in the quality of our digital ink presses and the end products they produce,” Lissenburg added.
