Managing Challenging Behaviour Workshop

Managing Challenging Behaviour Workshop

Managing challenging behaviours is not an easy line management skill, but failing to deal effectively with such personalities can lead to confrontation, grievances, low morale, lost time, expense for the business and potential employment tribunal claims.

The BPIF will be running one-day Managing Challenging Behaviour Workshops. This new workshop is designed for line managers, supervisors and others with HR responsibilities.

The course covers the following areas:
– Identify extremely difficult behaviours
– Recognise the impact of extremely challenging behaviour in individuals and the organisation
– Look at reasons why these behaviours can manifest
– Develop an awareness of difficult personality types
– Understand the key strategies and the traps to avoid when managing an ECP (extremely challenging person)
– Practice effective strategies to manage extremely challenging behaviours
– Understand the importance of applying policy and procedure

What are the benefits of attending?
Learning about different personality types and gaining the skills to deal with such issues will enable delegates to gain both the confidence and the HR strategies to tackle issues that are commonly avoided but are vital to address.

To find out more about this training course, with the option to have this delivered in-house at your business, please contact your Regional HR Advisers and they will get back to you to discuss further.
