DCB Group achieve BPIF Seal of Business Excellence
DCB Group have become the first and only company in the North West region to achieve the BPIF Seal of Business Excellence.
Initially tested in early 2017 after signing up for BPIF Platinum Membership, the Manchester-based print and communications firm have accumulated 3 Seals of Excllence this year alone.
Obtaining the Seal of Excellence for Health and Safety, Environment, and HR meant that the business is now the first and only in the North West to obtain a Seal of Business Excellence out of 180 members in the region.
Upon returning this month, the BPIF inspector scored DCB's HR highly proving individuals, departments and businesses across the group demonstrate their expertise both internally and to the print industry.
Managing Director, Victoria Hart said, "I am extremely proud of all of us within DCB Group for ensuring we work to the highest standards in all areas, which is reflected in our extremely high scores in all 3 of the individual seals and ultimately resulted in us gaining the Business Seal of Excellence."
The conglomerate group came into being in 2008 with the acquisition of print management company Print Search. The following procurements of marketing firm Caspa and print production firm Aspen have enabled the group to offer a full communication service, now turning over £6.5m.
DCB celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. With their sights firmly set on the next 10 years, they have already made acquisitions and put plans in place to ensure they remain at the forefront of the print industry. Victoria Hart knows that the future is bright for print and continues to position DCB Group as thought leaders, understanding the future 10 years will rely on technology advancement, sustainability and ability to understand changing client needs.
Victoria also commented, "Although we see a decline of print advertisement and media, there will always be a place for print. The ubiquity of digital media has given print media a strange new power. It begins to feel special to receive a personalised letter as opposed to an email or say a printed brochure over a digital file though email, it's more likely to leave a lasting impression."
