Fire safety – practical steps for employers

If you're like most business owners, your company is your livelihood. Protecting your organisation and all that it takes to run it is critical. Often, much effort goes into crisis prevention, but little is done to plan for recovery.

You may have seen in the news 6 February 2019, that Ocado experienced a major fire at their warehouse in Andover, Hampshire - up to 200 firefighters attended the scene. As a result three print firms were evacuated as they were within the 500m cordon implemented around the site, and were asked to leave due to the risk of fire themselves, causing great disruption.
