First impressions count

First impressions count

First impressions count  take a look at your welcome experience.

With every encounter, you are evaluated and an impression of you is formed. These first impressions can be difficult to reverse and often set the tone for the relationship. Apparently it takes one-tenth of a second to judge someone and make a first impression. Research suggests that the more time participants are given to form the impression, the more confidence in impressions they report. This is where a new reception software ‘Alice' could be the answer.

Regional Director, Marcus Clifford recently visited a well invested trade printer, and upon arrival in their reception was welcomed by an advanced visitor management solution ‘Alice'. The large screen required him to fill in his name and who he was visiting. Having confirmed the details the person he was seeing was automatically informed and arrived shortly after. Marcus commented, "It was a great and welcoming experience and reminded me of a company I visited a few years ago, where the Receptionist had a placard in front of them with their title ‘Director of First Impressions'."
