Darren Shepherd – BPIF Regional Director goes back to school

Darren Shepherd – BPIF Regional Director goes back to school

Darren visited Calder High School as part of the BPIF's activities to explain about the benefits of apprenticeships and career opportunities within the print sector to the Year 10 group of around 225 students.

His talk highlighted the range of roles within a typical print business and how valuable transferrable skills are within a career path given that the roles that many of these young people will carry out, are said to not even exist yet!

Newly printed support documentation was left with the school to support the presentation and help with their career decisions.

For further information regarding how you could work with schools please contact Darren directly at darren.shepherd@bpif.org.uk or keep an eye out for a launch session due in mid January 2020.
