What services are businesses asking for?

What services are businesses asking for?

This year companies appear to be requiring support with services that are required to remain or be compliant with standard or regulation.

41% of companies are requesting a health, safety & environmental services which includes training and management scheme. No wonder companies are requesting health and safety training, according to the HSE the most common type of accidents in the printing industry are manual handling (27%), slips and trips (22%) and machinery (22%). Companies don’t want to be part of this statistic, would you?

21% of companies have requested support with standards and certification, ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, BRC and BPIF Colour Quality Management Certification. They have said they are looking at standards and certification to improve process and productivity, help them grow their business, retain and gain clients. If you had specific standard would it help you win that tender? Are the companies in this 21% winning the tenders you are bidding for?

9% of companies have needed occupational health support; mainly occupational health management referral (telephone) and occupational health screening and surveillance. With the heightened awareness of staff wellbeing, these services have been requested to ensure that legislation is followed, along with promoting and maintaining good health policies and practices in your workplace can set you apart from the competition. You’ll be able to recruit and retain the best staff, reduce sickness levels and improve productivity and profitability.

8% of companies requested occupational hygiene, hugely requiring noise surveys, local exhaust ventilation, legionella risk assessment and workplace air monitoring.

6% of companies have requested human resources, and this year there has been requests for discipline and grievance support and human resources training. Companies appear to be focusing on training their managers with the HR Toolkit for Line Managers workshop so they can effectively manage their team.

All the 5's with technical, process improvement and business development with them at 5%.
