Remembering our best decisions

Remembering our best decisions

Throughout our daily lives we experience things that are the direct result of decisions we made in the past. Where we work and our, hopefully, interesting jobs, the cars with all the latest ‘toys' we drive to get there, the cosy homes we leave each morning and perhaps our families that we return to at the end of each day. To some degree all these things define us and are hopefully tangible evidence of our very best decisions.

Sometimes, even in a great marriage, we can forget why we chose the way we did. That's perhaps why couples celebrate anniversaries and occasionally reaffirm their vows after a difficult time. It's the same in business, time erases our memory of the reasons for our good decisions. We can easily take things for granted, if they just work behind the scenes, we hardly give them a second thought.

Our cleaning cloth recycling service is a bit like this. Many of our customer partnerships were forged years ago, promises were made by each party to the other, so maybe it's time to renew our vows! From our side we solemnly remind you that:

a) Our wipers are made from recycled cotton, they have no polyester, (plastic from oil).
b) Our wipers will be recycled typically 12 times before they become waste. That's more than 90% less waste than a disposable product.
c) If you have been using our wipers you have eliminated a waste stream. Nearly always this is a hazardous waste stream.
d) It is illegal to landfill oily rags - our reject wipers are clean and therefore non-hazardous.
e) The carbon footprint of our service is very modest compared to the disposable option. For every consignment of new wipes, we import, there would need to be 12 consignments of disposable cloths. Cotton is a sustainable crop with a much lower carbon price than polyester.
f) Our distribution network gets us close to our customers again minimising our carbon footprint.
g) Cotton is strong and absorbent. The wiper of choice, in a range of sizes.
h) Our service runs itself. You don't need to remember to order new wipers, they just arrive before you run out. You don't need to distribute them around your facility, we do that for you. You don't have to organise the storage and disposal of the soiled, that's all part of our service.
i) We also supply dispensers that ensure that wipers are available where they are needed and convenient solutions for the short-term storage of used cloths that also protect your insurance policy.
j) Our new laundry will be a zero discharge to drain facility complimented by water recycling and heat recovery. The only sustainable wiper recycling laundry in the UK.
k) Great value - all for a predictable, regular cost!

So, there you are, do you remember why you made one of your best decisions?! We want to stay in this partnership with you. So, if you promise to forsake all other wipers, perhaps we should celebrate?!
