BPIF ‘look beyond’ to the future this National Apprenticeship Week
In a recent survey conducted by Docebo a third of UK workers don't feel qualified for their current job and more than half don't think their co-worker is either, this is why it is more important than ever to celebrate the power of apprenticeships. An apprenticeship can be undertaken by people of all ages, they are not just for entry level positions. In fact at the BPIF we have over 100 learners on management apprenticeships who range between the ages of 18-63.
National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is from 3 - 7 February and is an annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships and the impact apprenticeships have on individual, employers and the economy, with the theme this year being look beyond.
This year throughout NAW, the BPIF will be hosting a range of events and activities to help celebrate the fantastic opportunities print apprenticeships offer.
Be informed and inspired - BPIF apprentices gather to hear from industry leaders at Antalis Academy
On Tuesday 4 February the BPIF will be kicking things off in style with an inspiring apprentice event, where attendees will hear from inspirational speakers from Hobbs the Printer, Sainsbury's/Argos, The Printing Charity and Two Sides.
The forum will be hosted at the Antalis Academy and apprentices will benefit from a tour and have the great opportunity to network with industry peers.
All travel expenses for apprentices will be paid for by The Printing Charity.
If you have an apprentice that would like to attend please email Sophie Chater at [email protected]
