A year of reflection for Mercia Image Print
2019 was a milestone year for Derby based Mercia Image Print, as their celebrations for the 30th year in business began.
2019 was a fabulous year of recognition - not only because Mercia significantly increased their turnover once again, also because Amanda Strong, who heads up the team, was acknowledged with two amazing business awards: The 2019 Derby Telegraph Entrepreneur of the Year Award and The 2019 East Midlands Women Award for Entrepreneur of the Year. In addition last year, Mercia raised £30,000 for 30 local charities in 30 Days.
Amanda said, "Every year, since the company began, we've raised money for local charities so, for the company's 30th anniversary, we knew we had to do something special and so was born the '30 Days of Giving Campaign' to achieve £30,000 for 30 charities objective.
Dawn Reid, Regional Director for the area, added "The campaign proved to be a great success, I even donated myself - with local charities receiving more profile, more acknowledgement and in some cases, more money than they have received in a long while. This coupled with the other awards Amanda has received, well done to her and the Mercia team."
Amanda added, "A new decade brings new hopes and new horizons, so all at Mercia are ready for the challenges ahead. The business now boasts some of the most up to date printing, finishing and binding machinery in the area, which, coupled with direct mail facilities and signage production capabilities, gives Mercia customers every possible printing process available - as a 'one stop shop'. Here's to 2020 let's hope it's as good as 2019."
