Latcham Direct announce the arrival of their second Canon i300
Latcham Direct, a market-leading provider of data, print, digital and fulfilment solutions to customers throughout the UK, has taken delivery of a second high-speed inkjet Canon Océ VarioPrint i300 as part of its continuing investment in innovative, flexible and green technology.
Following the successful installation of their first Canon i300 in July 2019, after a year of impressive sales growth, in order to meet increasing demand for print-on-demand solutions. Latcham are happy to deepen their relationship with Canon, who have proved to be a reliable and valuable partner, with the purchase of this second model.
The installation of Latcham's first i300 followed an in-depth implementation and training process with Canon, and since its arrival production speeds have increased with no sacrifice in quality. Latcham has chosen the i300 for its high-quality print, reliable and consistent output and its ability to provide a wide variety of formats and paper options, ensuring that Latcham has the capacity to continue to deliver a high-quality service.
Latcham has significant ambitions to be a leading green company with sustainability at the heart of their business. The i300 uses fully recyclable water-based inkjet inks, moving away from the use of microplastics in the printing process, and uses reduced energy per page printed. The i300's green credentials were an important consideration in Latcham's purchase decision. Latcham Direct Managing Director Mike Hughes said, "As we move into our tenth year, our business continues to go from strength to strength. We have grown to over 100 employees in the past year, and we are planning for a period of strong, sustainable growth in the future. The arrival of our second i300 is in keeping with our plans to invest in technology and skills that ensure the delivery of high quality, cutting edge solutions for our customers."
