Konica Minolta recognised as one of the Top UK Employers for the third consecutive year

Konica Minolta recognised as one of the Top UK Employers for the third consecutive year

Konica Minolta is proud to announce that it has been officially certified by the Top Employers Institute for its exceptional employee offerings for the third year in a row. Certification recognises that employees are empowered and thrive when a business embraces the right people practices, which in turn helps the organisation grow by becoming an employer of choice.

“Having been accredited as a Top Employer in the UK for three years in a row is a powerful testament to our complete focus on our employee experience,” says Sarah Stone, Director for People & Culture at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd.

“Our focus has been on developing the workplace of the future to really engage with the people that power Konica Minolta, utilising technology to support employee self-service and talent development as well as supporting our digital transformation – examples being LinkedIn learning and online performance management.”

The world of work is changing. Recent research reveals that job hopping is the ‘new normal’ for Millennials, with 91% expecting to stay in a job for less than three years. A separate study shows that an overwhelming majority of all workers (93%) left their employer the last time they changed roles, with only 7% taking on a new position in their company. This has added new challenges for businesses in not only attracting but also retaining talent within the company.

Sarah adds, “Our partnership with Mind, the mental health charity, also demonstrates our clear focus on wellbeing in the workplace. We have a strong focus on our values and bringing these to life to develop a rewarding, energising and innovative place to work. We promote and encourage flexible working, which enables us to be our best and to find the ideal work/life balance for better mental health. Employee experience is key for us and focusing on the total employee journey is a crucial part of Konica Minolta’s mission to remain a choice place for professionals to work.”

The annual international research carried out by the Top Employers Institute recognises leading employers from around the world: those that provide excellent employee conditions, grow and develop talent throughout all levels of the business, and which strive to have an employee-first approach. Konica Minolta is one of the select organisations to achieve the UK Top Employers certification and is very proud to again be officially recognised as an employer of choice.

Crucial to the Top Employers process is that participating companies must complete a stringent research process and meet the required high standard in order to achieve the certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited, meaning this research has verified Konica Minolta’s outstanding employee experience and earned them a coveted spot among a choice group of certified Top Employers.

The Top Employers Institute assessed Konica Minolta’s employee offerings on the following criteria:

• Talent Strategy
• Workforce Planning
• On-boarding
• Learning & Development
• Performance Management
• Leadership Development
• Career & Succession Management
• Compensation and Benefits
• Culture
